What a great, friendly, local plane. This would definitely be my local hangout of I lived in Sandpoint. It clearly was for many... add it seemed like everyone knew everyone. Read more
It's the hole-in-the-wall place that is much cleaner and more comfortable than any hike-in-the-wall place has the right to be,... especially with the absolutely delicious food that they have. It's like a cozy bar with a gourmet chef preparing food for you! Icould hang here every hour they are open; feels like home. Read more
I don't know about you, but if I walk into a place that is dank, dark, and has bugs flying around in the bar/dining area; I have... to wonder what the kitchen looks like. We walked around the pub, even went upstairs to their other seating area which wasn't anycleaner...made the decision to leave. The prices they charge for their food make it seem like it should be an upscale bar. Iwouldn't trust the food that came out of that place. Read more
We visit Eichardt's Pub every time we go to Sandpoint - and we've always had a fun time sitting at the bar. Their salmon... artichoke dip is delicious - in fact, everything we have tried is good. They have a great beer selection and the owner is ablast to trade stories with. They even have original local art on the walls. We all agreed the bartender could be nicer. She wasso unbelievably snarky and contrary, we had to laugh. Part of the charm? Update: After several more visits to Sandpoint it'swell past time to upgrade my rating from a 3 to a 5. We love everything about this place and consider it a staple stop. Read more
