Huge chunks of lobster in the warm buttered lobster roll- absolutely delightful! The apple cider house vinaigrette on the side... salad was so insanely delicious! I could drink that stuff. Our waitress Lauren was as sweet as could be. I highly recommendedit! Read more
We had a party of 12 and we were waiting outside comfortably for dinner when the host Rich came to let us know that the table... set for us was quite sunny and he was not sure if we would be able to handle the sun with a few babies in our group. Rich walkedus back to the table and gave us the option to give it a shot, or to wait and have our table split into two parties. As we wereunsure what to do because of looming bedtimes, rich was incredibly helpful and accommodating, letting us place orders for thekids and even skirting rules to say they could dine in the waiting area. The adults ended up getting drinks at the bar while thestaff set up two adjacent tables for us and we had an absolutely wonderful time. I have to say Rich really went above andbeyond to facilitate our group (offering several options for us, being really attentive to our needs) as well as just being areally nice and patient guy! If you made it this far in my review, the food was slammin', the view was absolutely spectacularat sunset, but the cherry on top was the excellent service and actually being treated like they wanted us to stay and have agood time when the restaurant was so busy they could have just turned us down. It can't get any better than this place for views, service, menu selection, quality of food, and price. I am totally sold! I... came here just based off TripAdvisor reviews and a quick scan of the menu, the day before driving to Sandwich, MA. I should havemade reservations in order to sit outdoors BUT nevertheless, sat indoors still with an ample view of the water, where fishingboats run. This is owned by two fishermen brothers so the seafood really is boat to table. Generous servings yet cleanlypresented on plates (not like heaping-serving-dumped-on-plate). The price is fair. I have been to restaurants with appetizersand entrees priced about the same but which quality pales in comparison. Our out-of-town guests were very happy; they cannotstop thanking us for choosing this place, calling their experience "5-star". We ordered Jonah Crab and Artichoke Dip plus Sideof Truffle Rosemary Shoestring fries. So good. The dip came with their house made potato chips. So much carb to start with andoh-so-good. Then came the Grilled Asparagus and Arugula salad. The knuckle sandwich is perfect as it has meat from lobsterclaws; my favorite part. We also had the Broiled Scallops; the butter and garlic it is sitting on is so good; I wiped my Jonahcrab smelt sandwich on it (haha). Of course the Jonah crab melt sandwich did not disappoint; delicately meaty with meltedcheese...no one ever complains of that. This place is pretty epic! We stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar overlooking the wharf. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We tried the nachos... and were delighted with the difference. They were loaded, lots of cheese and guacamole, even had shredded carrots. Read more
