What a filthy place! And then the bait and switch: I ordered red snapper, and they gave me red tilapia. I ordered couscous and... they give me sugared cabbage without even asking me, cuz they didn’t have couscous anymore. It was I inspected the pick-upthat the guy decided to tell me. The food is tasteless and very expensive. And the bait and switch tilapia was stale. I’mnever going back there again. Too back I can’t get my $65 back! Read more

Is hate leaving bad reviews but I would hate for someone else to waste time visiting this place. I will start by saying we... traveled from Sc to Atlanta. This was my very first time trying this type of food and I really looked forward to it. To begin,as soon as we walked in there were red flags, but due to my excitement I was willing to ignore them at that moment. The lightingwas dim (not in a romantic way). There were only two people in the establishment, who I assume both worked there. We weregreeted by neither. We initiated conversation and greetings and asked if we could be seated. The man (EXTREMELY RUDE) said yeahsit down…so we did. Mind you, he was seated as well (on his phone doing absolutely nothing). He then got on the phone andstarted chit chatting (on speaker phone) with his lover and clearly us being there (myself my husband and 4 young children) wasan obvious annoyance to him. Anyhow, he continues on the phone for a min of 5 mins before he bring 2 menus to our table and asksus what to drink. We respond with water as we felt rushed to make a complete order as he was still rudely. Chit chatting on thephone ON SPEAKER, he brings back TWO bottles waters and walks off. Now mind you there are six people at this table. Anywho, hesits back down continuing his conversation on the telephone. We sit another 10 mins when a male customer walks in, who I assumeis either a regular here or family to the owners, and is treated by both the workers and his order was taken immediately BY THECOOK DIRECTLY!!…I was appalled, like how rude!? Is immediately took my children and told my husband that it’s best that weleave. That’s when the male worker decided to say that it was OUR FAULT for not knowing what we wanted and being ready toorder. This establishment put a bad taste in my mouth when I didn’t even get an opportunity to taste anything!! Not to mentionhow cluttered and nasty the dining room was. Go at your own risk. Read more

I don't like eating edikangikong in restaurants here in the States because it taste nothing like it. The leaf is so soft and... most times it's as if one was eating just spinach. But at Nations's cafe, it was just like home. Tasted crunchy as it should be;you could tell it wasn't the conventional frozen ugu most restaurants uses. The down part with Nations's cafe is that you couldcall for hours and even days before getting response. I wish they could do better on that. Read more

The garri and bitterleaf soup I ordered here wasn’t edible so I had to thrash it. A waste of money. The soup appeared to have... been frozen for eternity and then get reheated when an order is placed. I sensed premonition once I got to the restaurant andthere were just 2 patrons. That to me is usually a red flag. In this busy city , If you’ve got a restaurant that serves goodfood, you can be guaranteed patronage. I am a Nigerian who has lived in diaspora for 9 consecutive years. I can unequivocallystate that the meal I ordered here is the worst indigenous meal I’ve bought in that period. I do not recommend.
