I went to the bar side and not the restaurant area, but it was a real good time. The beer selection and cocktail selection was... plentiful — and you can get a giant stein (liter) if you like! The decor is clean and themed, and welcoming. The bartendersare very knowledgeable and happy to help you. I recommend the Bavarian pretzel and flat bread as they were the perfectcombination to go with a nice giant beer. The restaurant area had a German music performance live and it was streamed onto thetv at the bar, which was fun to see. Definitely stop in for a drink if you’re in downtown Sanford. Read more

Great spot with excellent German food before or after the auto train. The waitress was so welcoming. Will be back . We started... with a cheese board and a delicious light grapefruit beer. Then we had more traditional German food that l didn’t take apicture of. Read more

Look ya. Come and try this place! Everything was delish! Our server Noah was a doll. I loved his honest opinions and he was so... attentive. We sat up stairs so we had awesome jazz band playing. Truly truly enjoyed this place. Hubby and I are definitelycoming back. Read more

It’s a themed restaurant with pretty good food. The food highlights over the few times we’ve been were the bread basket as... it was affordable/refillable, Bavarian pretzel/cream cheese spread, the spätzle, potato pancakes, Mettwurst, and curry ketchup. If you’re into live band performances with dancing, that’s also what you’ll get out of this place on certain days as well.It can get loud so if you’re sensitive to noise, consider dining in when there’s no band playing or outside seating is morechill when it’s not raining/scorching hot outside. Definitely worth a try if it’s been on your list! Read more

I love going to Hollerbach's when I'm in the Sanford area. There's abundant indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of nearby... parking, clean restrooms, and an incredible overall atmosphere. I traditionally get the 2 -wurst meal with a bratwurst andmettwurst. You can choose which two, three or four -wursts you'd like plus two sides. They are all juicy, delicious and perfect.I can only consume 1-2 of them, there is just so much food. I'll take the rest home! Also, if you enjoy pretzels....you can getone as an appetizer. It comes out piping hot, freshly cooked, and with two dipping sauces: a sweet mustard and a beer basedcheese. This is the best soft pretzel you'll eat in Florida. Hands down. Try it, it's worth the ~$12. Read more
