The food is absolutely amazing! Some of the best food I've ever had! And I love that they do a chefs special every day. The only... reason I gave it a 3 star is because service is just ok. When we've been here and sat at the bar, service was phenomenal. Butsitting at a table, it seemed that our server only came once in a while. After eating, the rest of my party went to the car andI waited over 10 minutes trying to get the attention of our server for some to go boxes but it seemed she was avoiding me.. veryodd and awkward.. We will probably come here again but will just sit at the bar. Read more

Nice looking place with friendly staff, but supremely average food (based on my attempt). Decided to try the Happy Hour menu... because the prices seemed amazing (10oz NY Strip with fries and salad for $16 and a full portion of pappardelle with scallopsand cream sauce for $12), however the food was not particularly great. The pasta was chewy and clumped together, and thescallops were oddly shaped little pieces for the most part (there was only 1 of, what I would consider, a full-sized scallop),and the steak was not without its problems too-- was more rare than I asked for, there was lots of silver skin on it, making ithard to eat, and it was poorly seasoned. The salad dressing on the salad was watery and peculiar too, though the fries weregood. If I decide to try this place again, I will order from the regular dinner menu to see if the quality of my meal was justsubpar because it was Happy Hour. Read more

I want to give this place 5 stars. Just an issue that I ran into with the beef tenderloin I ordered. There was silverskin in the... middle of each slice that made it difficult to eat. The flavor was fantastic and the drinks were amazing, but this was a prettybasic thing to miss. I'll definitely come back and will most likely change this to a 5 star review though. I have a feeling thiswas a one-time mistake. Read more

Great environment. Excellent service. Good food. We went to The District based on a local recommendation. It didn?t disappoint.... We were lucky to dine on an evening with relatively few other patrons which made for a calm quiet dinner. I had the trout, mybuddies had stake. No one had anything to complain about. The serving sizes were ample. Read more

The food was absolutely out of this world. We started with the shrimp dip which was very rich and easy to split. We then ordered... the short ribs and they were so tender and flavorful. The risotto that accompanied it was just mouth watering. The only reason Ididn?t rate 5 stars is because the service was just disappointing. After ordering and receiving our starter we weren?t checkedon again to order our entrees until well after we finished the starter. Read more
