Great little breakfast-lunch diner. The family stopped in for some breakfast on our way to Wells Beach. Very good coffee and the... cheese steak omelette was excellent. Read more
My wife and I decided to go on an adventure, we used a coin and flipped it at each stop sign or light for exactly an hour. When... the alarm went off we pulled over and looked up restaurants within 5 miles pilots cove was one. We each wrote 2 restaurants putit in a hat and I pulled that one. I have lived in or around Sanford since 2011 and never ate there. The least I can say was Iwas pleasantly surprised. I had lobster Mac and cheese and it was perfection. My wife had chicken broccoli Alfredo delicious.They tasted good the next day as well. I HIGHLY recommend pilots cove cafe. 10 out of 10! Read more
We love their brunch, that's where they really shine in my eyes. Amazing eggs Benedicts, homemade velvet hash(made with beets!)... Bottomless mimosas, and spicy bloody Marys. Breakfast with a great view of the runway. Watch the planes land and the pilotscome in for a meal. Enjoy watching helicopter lessons take place. Inside and outside seating available. Had business in the area and decided to try this restaurant. The special was the Rubin panini and we added on their mac& cheese.... Although the Rubin was tasty, the bread soggy and couldn't hold the meat. Fries were great. As for mine, it didn't hit the tablewith bubbling cheese, rather a thicker cheese, you'd cut into. Taste was there, just expected something better. Service wasgreat, the waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Would return to give their breakfast a try. Read more

Great flavor, perfectly cooked breakfast. Server was definitely having an off day. Wife and I ordered the same big breakfast... with French toast, she got pancakes, waitress seemed put off when we mentioned it, so I split mine with my wife. Ordered toaston the side, waitress replied it doesn't come with toast, I replied that's fine I'll pay, toast cane out after I finished mostof my meal. Waitress came to check on us as we were finishing, I ordered a second orange juice that never came, so we simplypaid and left. Would definitely still go back as the food is on point, waitstaff may need some training. Read more
