This is not my first time dining here. I was surprised by how crowded it was. Also, I did not like my dinner; the oyster came... with onions and tomatoes. I would prefer this on the side. The bread basket came after 20 minutes; the main course was tastelessno flavor at all. I try one piece, and that?s all. Not worth it. Wow is all I can say. From the time you pull up at the valet, to the beautiful views of the restaurant, and the pleasant and... accommodating staff, the Stone House truly is an actual five star restaurant. Four of us enjoyed the Sunday brunch. Spectacular.We were concerned it would be a little stuffy with the Kennedys and all the hoopla surrounding the San ysida ranch. There wasnothing stuffy or presumptious about the place. Warm, inviting and just downright delicious food and great drinks. You mustschedule an hour to walk around in the beautiful gardens after dining there. We were visiting Santa Barbara from Tampa for 44days and the San ysidro ranch was one of our favorites. One of my top 3 favorite restaurants in the Santa Barbara area. Nestled in the foothills is this amazing stone faced gem. The... service is impeccable and the cuisine Chef Matt is serving is five star and beyond. The views are breathtaking and the differentdining options are very nice. What a wonderful place! The service the hospitality was from beginning to end. I was even given it to another seller which I'm a... big fan of wine and really appreciate it. We had lunch and the food was exciting with a little bit of a twist here and there ontheir take on the dishes. Definitely a place to go to we will be back. Read more

This is simply a very high end, gourmet restaurant with wonderful ambiance, amazing service, and 5 star food. The grounds... surrounding the restaurant is breathtakingly beautiful, and you should come early to take a stroll around the gardens to take itall in. We came here for a special Thanksgiving dinner, and were very grateful indeed. Pricey to be sure, but for that specialoccasion, well worth it. Read more
