My partner and I just spent the night dealing with food poisoning from this place. We normally cook our own meals but we decided... to order some sushi and have a nice date night. Unfortunately about 3 hours after eating our sushi we both had the same symptomsall throughout the night. It takes a serious lack of care to get food poisoning from a chef. Sushi was good. Just wish they would have added napkins or utensils other than chop sticks. Especially for kid orders. They are on the other side of town from me but they are my top 3 sushi places to eat at in Santa Cruz. The 14 piece sushi... platter that comes with 6 different fish and two half roles a eggrole, miso soup, and dessert is my go to. Great prices withfresh high quality sushi is great reasons to give MG sushi a try.
