Pizza was delicious, thin and love the burned crust edges. Not too cheesy or too much sauce. All around good.
We?ve been coming here every Friday night (except during Covid) for 7 years. Deceptively simple but excellent flavorful locally... sourced pastas and pizzas, with friendly, lovely attention from the staff and the owner. Casual vibe and perfect for families.Small but great wine selection as well. A real gem! Read more
Definitely one of my favorite pizza places in Santa Cruz. It?s hard to get authentic Italian pizza like this unless you?re in a... bigger city. Great place for a stop for a quick and inexpensive meal. Their warm gourmet olive plates is incredible with pizza. Read more
Pizzeria Avanti never fails to impress... A friendly spot with consistent delicious food on the west side. Inviting, warm-toned... ambiance featuring Italian ceramics. Relaxed service. The right scale--bustling on a Friday night but not loud. Pictured arebutternut squash ravioli and shrimp scampi, both good! Ceaser salad (split between two people) was also solid. Excellent pizza! We?re on a 65+ day road trip, pizza aficionados, and this is the best pizza we?ve had so far.
