Stopped by Zameen on our vacation near Santa Cruz. Really liked the feta fries and the Moroccan soup appetizer. I had a falafel... bowl and my husband the falafel wrap. While I lovedddd the saffron rice and the pickled veg, I really didn?t enjoy the falafelitself, it tasted really mushy and stodgy- which isn?t what I?m used to. It didn?t have the crisp exterior crunch and crumblyinside that I love in a falafel. I left almost all the other falafel balls untouched. Portion sizes were very generous, though!Pita was thin but delicious and fresh tasting. Space was cute inside and it was busy on a week night evening. Counter serviceand food came out quickly.
