We had a perfect stay in Santa Monica! The hotel was perfect and the location is amazing. Views are incredible and it is steps... to the Pier and beach. I am so glad we chose to be right on the beach. I believe it made our vacation with our 9 year oldtwins. We rented bikes and rode to Venice Beach, and went to the swings on the beach and down to the water several times a day. Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful, the valet staff was wonderful, the gym is so nice itmakes you want to work out. Cannot recommend it more!! Read more

I had stayed at this hotel several years ago, and when I went to plan my special get away I decided to check the reviews before... booking. I was soo surprised to read some of the less than stellar reviews. I'm glad I went with my own instinct and kept myreservation because this is truly a gem in Santa Monica. My experience with the hotel was amazing...from check in to check out.Our room was a beautiful ocean front room, we received a glass of champagne on arrival, the front desk staff was always readyand willing to assist, room service was great, and the list goes on. I appreciate the service and attention we received and Iwould return to this beautiful hotel over and over again ?! DON'T LET THE NEGATIVITY DETER YOU. If you're concerned, callahead. Hotel is quite beautiful with great rooms. They gave us a free upgrade to an Ocean view room which was generous. Amenities are... excellent and the staff was always friendly. Pool and hottub area were enjoyable. And the beach is literally about a oneminute walk from hotel. Quite excellent all around. Read more

Unbelievable experience. On day 3 of our stay, we were followed by the security from the moment we entered the front door to the... pool. The very moment we sat down by the pool, the security approached us and asked us ?are you guys staying here ?? When weasked, if he needed to see the room key, he left. He did not ask any other four white individuals who came after us to use thepool. Why only us? People of colors can not be presented in this hotel and use the pool without being questioned as we were justsneaking in? Why would he assume that there is any possibility of us to not be this hotels guest just like all others who cameto the pool after us? When we inquired about this to the front desk, if this was normal protocol, the staff told me that is notwhat they do, they don't ask the guest who uses the pool because the pool is accessed with room keys. The staff told us that shewill speak to manager to find out why this happened and followed up with us, which they did not. Exceptional customerservice. Its 2022, there is no place in the world for this type of ignorance. We will never return to this hotel. Read more

Excellent customer service at this hotel. The room is beautiful with a contemporary look that will make your hotel experience... even better! The bed for me and my husband was uncomfortable! I hope they do something about this! The gym is gorgeous! Theyeven have a stair climber!! The ocean view is breathtaking and the ambiance in the pool area is very nice too! Breakfast isdelicious! Thank you Jaime!! Amazing treats! Unfortunately, I would not say that I was impressed by their food for lunch ordinner.
