Pop quiz: Does the ticket order match the sandwich given? If you said no, you would be correct! I?m hungry and at work, so I... have no time to take it back. The sandwich might be good, but because I hate pickles?it has a nasty taste. Just double checkorder?s please. Read more

Conveniently located near the Third Street Promenade but far enough away that it?s not crowded with people. Food was fresh and... very tasty. Staff was extremely friendly and thorough. They made sure our order was correct during ordering and upondelivering it to the table. The restroom was clean and only available to paying patrons (Key code required for entry). Greatlittle experience for our family while wandering around and exploring the area. We will definitely be visiting again. Read more

These days it seems like you?re either team Shake Shack or team In-N-Out. Both are great burger options, with shake shack having... a lot more verity in their menu. The Shake Stack is my personal favorite burger. It has a mushroom in gooey cheese, deep friedon top of a beef patty. The cheese fries are amazing. I?d prefer these over In-N-Out fries any day (although I do like animalstyle fries). I also tried the ?Hot Ones? fried chicken promotional burger today. The chicken was solid, but the picture made itseem like it was covered in hot sauce? but it was literally just the regular fried chicken with a spicy Mayo sauce. Would haveliked it to have a lot more spice but it was still solid. I really like Shake Shack, but if I were to pick between here andIn-N-Out, I would pick the latter as the prices are unmatched. Shake Shack is a bit over priced in my opinion compared to itscompetitors. Overall if you are looking for a good smash burger, give Shake Shack a try, but be prepared to spend a bit morethen your usual burger joint. Read more

The location is convenient. They have free parking. Seems like a person in a wheelchair could have easy access. They have indoor... and outdoor dining. Food was excellent. The prices for all their hamburgers we're around $10. There's only one or two offeringsfor people who don't eat beef. But the chicken sandwich was excellent. Read more

TL;DR: Better than In-n-out and the other burger chains. Excellent brioche bun (and has a gluten free bun!). Excellent fries.... Serves beer & wine, and of course shakes. Has excellent chicken nuggets and chicken sandwich options if red meat isn't yourthing. This specific location in Santa Monica has super fast service, and they will bring the food to your table. I've been aShake Shack customer since way back when they opened in Manhattan. What changed since then is the addition of chicken options, wine and beer, and you can now order your burger with a gluten free bun (and it was pretty good!). I live a few blocks awayfrom this restaurant. I only eat a hamburger a few times a year with my kids (5 times or less per year), so when I do get ahamburger I make sure to go to a quality burger restaurant. Shake Shack is definitely one of those restaurants that make what Iconsider to be a high quality burger. Despite the location being extremely touristic, the restaurant was very clean and so werethe bathrooms. Read more
