Certainly did not expect to say this.... but I had the greatest steak of my life at this very restaurant. A filet mignon. It... blew away all the Wagyu cuts I have previously had. All of our side dishes were absolutely flawless as well. The employees wereas friendly and helpful as they get. Solidarity ended up being our favorite restaurant we visited on our trip up the entire Westcoast. Read more
As a born and raised Slav, I vouch for Solidarity's menu and food quality. If it sounds like an authentic dish, it is one.... Anyone who complains just didn't have it done that particular way in their household or didn't visit enough Eastern Bloccountries and sample the different ways the food is made. Solidarity is very similar to the way a menu would be organized in aauthentic style cooking restaurant for American Tourists in Ukraine, Poland or Lithuania. My only compliant is there was onethat the portions are a bit on the small side especially if you are used to your baba cooking for the whole family. Read more

Went for my birthday and had a really nice time. The food was fantastic, at least as good as anything I had in Poland! I was... really excited about the chance to introduce my family to Polish culture as I have recently discovered our deeply Polishheritage which we hardly even knew we had! However, for some reason our first course didn’t arrive for almost a full hourafter we ordered. It was as if our party of six was forgotten immediately after the drinks arrived. As far as I was concernedthe great atmosphere and friendly staff made up for it, though it was weird that it took so incredibly long to get our food, andsome of my party were getting upset. While we were finishing up the meal I could see a birthday party at the next table and thestaff were singing the Polish happy birthday song to them! I was excited to experience that with my family. Our waiter came backand offered me a birthday dessert, but there was no singing or anything when he brought it, which felt a little disappointing,although the dessert was delicious. They definitely knew we were there for my birthday so it was odd that the next table seemedto be getting some extra kind of service. I would go back in a heartbeat however. I give them the benefit of the doubt and canonly suppose they had some sort of confusion among the staff but I look forward to visiting again as the food and vibe werefantastic.
