Not the same. No power plugs. I guess the transient, homeless issue is so bad, it makes good companies from doing good.
I don?t want to be too harsh. it was clear some people were new on the job, and some people seemed to be overwhelmed. I get it.... however, I ordered a small coffee (drip coffee, not a sparkly unicorn) with sugar free vanilla and a splash of oat milk. usuallysomething the cashier does immediately. well? he was new, and he took my name and I let it be and waited. I wasn?t in a rushanyway. but even his coworkers who helped him place the order didn?t jump in to pour the coffee. again, no biggie. so I waited.ten minutes. everyone else had gotten their sparkly unicorns, a few mobile orders came in and out. then I went up to the pickupcounter and asked the barista (who was evidently pretty overwhelmed) if there was any chance my drip coffee would be ready soon.he quickly went and poured it for me, I didn?t bother with the sugar free vanilla, but I did ask for oat milk. oh boy. This used to be the Starbucks I would come and get some work done in between shifts. I hadn?t been here since 2018 so I don?t... know if this is a covid thing or what but it seems like they are fully committed to having you spend as little time as possiblehere. Music is blasting like a Santa Monica mimosa brunch, the outlets are covered and all the tables save for a few in thecorner, are gone. I?m not sure what this location had going for it other than it?s ample seating and outlets so I can only saythe baristas were courteous and made a good coffee but otherwise this location is not great.
