The staff was very helpful and kind. We ordered bacon wrapped sweet plantains andtwo chicken dishes: pollo Al horno & chicharrón de pollo. AMAZING!! served with Spanish rice, red beans and sweet plantains.Seasoned so perfectly wouldn?t change anything about it. I will definitely visit again and try something else. I live in Los Angeles and every time I visit Santa Rosa for work this is where I have to each when I get there and before I... leave. Puerto Rican food in LA is almost non existent. I would definitely recommend el pollo al horno dish and ask for theirgarlic mojo (vinegar not paste) on the side this combo is fire!! Also make sure to try their red sangria. Thank me later k bye Read more

I've been wanting to come eat here with my girlfriend Nancy for about 5 years. We finally made it and it's just as I remember... it. The food here is so, so, so good. If you're in the area, don't miss it. I highly suggest the Chuleta's plate or the Pollo ElHorno. I had the Chuleta's and I was having a very difficult time in not devouring everything on my plate and saving some formy lunch today. But I managed and I now get to relish again in the fabulous food from Elcoqui. Read more

Found this place to take my fiance to enjoy a Valentine's dinner of his culture, since I don't cook Puerto Rican food. It was... worth the hour and a half drive! Food was authentically prepared. Took our taste buds back to family cooking and reminded us ofplaces we have eaten at in Puerto Rico. Very well priced. Adding to the island vibe that's on point, with decor and music. Don'tforget to have a sangria. Wepa! Read more
