Do yourself a favor and visit K-Nam Korean BBQ & Sushi if you’re ever in the Sarasota area. The service is unmatched. Daniel,... one of the best servers I’ve ever had, very charming and did everything in a timely manner. Make sure to ask for him! Theatmosphere is chill and welcoming and everyone there is super friendly. I’ve tried multiple Korean restaurants but I will saythis is by far one of the most delicious and authentic places I’ve ever been to. So many delightful dishes, beautifulpresentation, a wide wine list and wonderful desserts. Everything I tasted just melted into my mouth. They didn't even have a full house and took a long time to get our orders ready. Everyone that came before us received their... orders. I was getting very irritated that they didn't atleast explain to use that they may need more time. We were there for atotal 3 hrs. If you want authentic Korean food this is not the place for you, because their target isn't you. If their expertiseis sushi, they shouldnt have named it K-nam! Soup was bland and sweet! Jajangmyeon was very salty and bland. Kimchi pancake wasstill very doughy inside. Our waiter turned our grill on 40 min prior to bringing out meat. I didn't see the point of having aburner on when it wasn't coming anytime soon so I turned it off until I was certain he was going to bring it. As a K barbecueplace, their meat selection is pretty limited. I was very disappointed in the service more so then the food. I will not be goingback and will block them from my facebook. Very disappointed. I wanted this to be good because it’s close by. Unfortunately, the food here isn’t very good. The service... was great, the cleanliness was decent, and the parking was easy, but the quality of food was average. We ordered bulgogi and itdid not taste like bulgogi , it was fried beef with onions. There was no green onions anywhere on any dish. We ordered ramen,that was a total disappointment.
