Cool atmosphere, but food took over 1.5 hours to come out and it was cold. They also forgot half of our order.
Stopped in for lunch. Bartender was alone on her second day..? Took over 10 minutes to get a drink when there were 5 people... here. Ordered a chicken sandwich and hotdogs and took over 30 minutes to come out. Cook came out and took a shot of Jameson(twice) and grabbed a beer. Maybe if he was cooking it would be quicker. We ordered a Reuben sandwich. The corned beef wasn't cut properly, it was cut with the grain instead of against it therefore I... couldn't chew it! Also cut too thick. The coleslaw was hot spicy! The only food I liked with my sandwich was the very littleside of beans! My husband was okay with his sandwich but also didn't like the coleslaw. It was too spicy hot and it had onionsin it, which coleslaw doesn't typically have onions. We won't be ordering from them anymore. Read more
I have wanted to try the barrel house for a while. When I walked in I was immediately asked if we are fully vaccinated! I was... shocked! That is absolutely none of their business! Black Friday 2022... My family and I came in to grab a bite and a few drinks. We were the only people sitting in there (around... 7PM) aside from a few at the bar. One of the initial beers we asked for was sold out, not a big deal. We placed our orders witha few modifications -- nothing crazy. After about 30 minutes or so the food came out. Right away we realized the sides had beenmessed up per each order. Once my father inspected his burger, it was totally wrong. No lettuce, no tomato, and none were the1/2 pound Pat LaFrieda burgers advertised on the website. Actually, when I asked about that brand of burger, thebartender/waitress didn't know what I was talking about. Additionally, they were cold. The bartender/waitress came over to askhow our food was toward the end of our meal. I told her the order was incorrect and she said she was going to tell themanager/owner. Not sure what they discussed, but he was on the phone the whole time and never came over to our table. Asanother side note, they put peas in the macaroni salad. All around terrible. This used to be a good place to eat when theyserved the smoked whole wings, but my understanding is that these are off the menu as well. Lastly, two of the burgers we hadwere supposed to be bacon burgers and were $16 on the menu, the bill came and they were $17 each. Not trustworthy either. Iwon't be back there again. Read more
