The veal marsala is excellent served with homemade linguini, and theeggplant rollatini is very good. The marinara sauce is a little spicey. Everything is ala carte. I met my parents here for a mid-afternoon lunch and it was a great experience. The hostess and server were kind and... accommodating, and took extra effort to check with the kitchen about any questions we had involving the food. I ordered salmon,which was beautifully cooked with a delicious crisp crust but was tender and almost melting underneath. It was served withbeautifully cooked brussel sprouts and a roasted tomato and vegetable risotto which was creamy, savory, and delicious. My motherordered lasagna, which was outstanding. It was stacked high with layers of noodles and a delicious sauce, but very savory andnot wet and soupy like lasagna is in so many places. Stopped into Wheatfields for a late lunch/early dinner. I’m from out of town and found them from a google search for “gluten... free near me.” I was extremely impressed with the menu they had devoted to GF dining. I had the warm gf baguette with herbbutter for starters. And the Wheatfields “Mac” made with gf penne pasta. I added grilled chicken to mine. Everything wasDELICIOUS! The service was great, too.
