My family came here for dinner to celebrate my Mom?s birthday. As it was our first time eating there, we had an amazing... experience overall with their excellent service. My sister and I ordered nigiri and sashimi - we were surprised and satisfiedat the portion of their fish:rice ratio compared with other sushi restaurants. We also ordered the Sukiyaki (for 2 people). Theowner was so nice to teach us how to eat it (as we?ve never had it before). We were also surprised at how delicious it was so weate everything, leaving the plates clean. Read more
We love Oreno! We were regulars when we lived in Saskatoon and make a point of visiting whenever we?re back in Saskatoon. On... our most recent visit we had the Pork Katsu Bento, a seriously generous box of deliciousness. The pork katsu is crunchy andjuicy, and the delicious sauce complements the always on point rice perfectly. The addition of their famous Kakiage and chickennanban takes this to a whole other level. At $18.95 this is a steal! We also devoured a plate of luscious salmon sashimi and afantastic Oreno roll (no photo for that - we ate it too fast!). The quality of their food just keeps getting better. We live inToronto, which has many, many excellent Japanese restaurants. And we can say with certainty that if Oreno were to open inToronto they?d be packed day in and day out. Great food and fantastic value for money. A true Saskatoon gem. Read more
