Very friendly staff. They bake all of their bread in house so it is always fresh. I had ham and swiss on rye and it was... absolutely delicious! Also had a bowl of their wicked thai soup, which also tasted great! Highly recommended! Read more
I came in in the middle of the afternoon and there was absolutely no one else there except the guy behind the counter so I'm not... going to rate this based on atmosphere because that would be unfair. Place was clean and the decor is actually pretty good for asandwich shop. Even the washroom was relatively clean. The guy behind the counter did his best but it seemed to me he was notexperienced at what he was doing. I'm not sure if he was new at this or if there was some other hiccup but the service couldhave been better. At least he made the sandwich right. As for the food the sandwich was actually very good. I was impressed bythe choices of bread that were available. You rarely see dark rye in a sandwich shop so I was pleasantly impressed by that. Ijust had lettuce tomato and onion on my donair sandwich but have to say that the lettuce was probably the best I've ever had ina sandwich shop. It was whole leaf instead of shredded which may seem like a small detail but it's the small details like thatmake all the difference. The tomato was similarly high quality.
