Menu for The Water Tower Inn, BW Premier Collection in Sault Ste. Marie, ON

The rooms and hotel are great but the service could use some work. We called ahead to let them know we were going to be checking... in around 4 in the morning instead of around midnight, and once we got there we were told that they had given our room away. Thelady at the front desk wasn't very helpful and kept stating that nobody told her. In the end we got a room with 2 double bedswhich isn't much when you have 7 people. Read more

After charging us for the room, they demanded that I give them another $150 on a credit card that they promised they wouldn't... actually take but that they would flag as a pending transaction, which reduces my available credit. When I demanded that theynot do that they insisted that this is an extra security step in case, using their example, I might order two steaks and abottle of wine from their restaurant then charge it to my room and not pay for it. Essentially they are telling every customerthat comes in the door that they must pay in advance for the room and then pay again because they don't trust you not to stealfrom them. I gave them the $150 and let them know that I sure wouldn't be eating in their restaurant and that I wouldn't becoming back. Hope it was worth taking $150 of my money, even if it was only temporary. We had a great stay here. The front desk staff were very nice. Only downside is you are in a bit of an industrial area, nothing... really walkable to explore. Rooms are a bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. AC worked really well. The pools wereawesome, was a very nice addition. If I am ever in the area again, I'd stay again. Read more

Overall nice experience. We would stay again. The pool facilities are quite nice even though some facilities were out of... order. The location is a bit industrial but still has access to the hub trail and is not too far from the waterfront. Read more

Great hotel and good service. We had an excellent pet-friendly experience with a kitty crossing the country. Pools were great... (but fairly crowded for the long weekend). Restaurant (Casey's) had a good selection/reasonable prices. Read more
