Fantastic fried catfish sandwich and Tito's Pink Lemonade! My husband had the coconut shrimp which was also very good. Service... was excellent and the restaurant atmosphere has a cool old building vibe. We ate inside, but there are lovely views of the riverfrom both inside and outside seating. Will definitely have a return visit!! Read more

Dockside?s big plus is the convenient location along the river which means some great views. Outdoor seating is limited and we... were lucky to get a table. Food is not that expensive. We ordered puppies, corn on cob and couple of drinks. Beware the food isoily and people seem to like the oil friend taste. I found it heavy on my stomach. The cocktails were better. If you want to sitat a riverside joint, I will recommend this for cocktails. Read more

We were getting hungry as we toured the river front. We stopped in and enjoyed the cozy historic feel and delicious food. The... seared tuna was fresh and cooked perfectly. I tried the shrimp and grits which are different than traditional boiled grits, instead they serve the shrimp and creamy cheese sauce with grits cakes. The added crunch on the outside adds a delectableelement to the meal. We also enjoyed the shrimp poboy sandwich with fries. The temperature inside was a little warm butotherwise no complaints whatsoever. We loved that the menu had a little Historical passage about the origins of the restaurantand building joists and masonry, as it has been standing since the 1790's. Read more

My family and I enjoyed our visit to the Dockside Seafood restaurant in Savannah, GA on September 17, 2022. The Hostess was... able to seat us in less than a minute! We had our drinks served in couple of minutes and our food was served in about 20minutes! Our server was Jada Boo and she was a sweetheart and very prompt! The vibe and atmosphere was awesome and familyfriendly! We started off with the Fried Green Tomato?s pictured with the post! They were very tasty. The outside crunch wasspot on and the tomato itself had a nice firm bite to it. It?s flavor was very close to that of fried pickles! The dipping saucehad a slight Cajun flavor to it. My wife had the Fried Catfish lunch special, also pictured with the post. The fries were goodand the catfish was very thick and hearty! Great flavor and cooked well. I would recommend using a different paper the line thebasket or trays, as the red ink from the paper was transferring over to the fish. I had the Low Country Boil, also pictured! The sausage was very good and the shrimp were perfect, with no deveining required. Just peel, dip in butter if you like and eat.The potatoes were cooked well and seasoned. The corn was spot on and seasoned well too! Overall great dining experience andwould definitely recommend giving it a try! Read more
