Not as good as it used to be. We wanted a nice eel but the promotion was sold out, so the manager upsells us the eel that... was 3.5 pound for two people. It was below average in execuation and you can taste the chicken in the oil because it was oldand not changed for a weekend service. The batter was think and had minimal salt and pepper taste. 1/5 Steamed eel with Backbean sauce 2/5 showed a little more skill and technique, but not much more. The tofu dish tasted like you made at home. Cutup tofu, add minced garlic , veggies and soya sauce and steam for 12 minutes . 1/5 Service 0.5/5 servers from the kitchenwere more attentive then the ones working on the floor. Damage $159.22 and it was typical below average service. They havea candle warning up our tea, but it went out after five minutes. No one came by to check in on us especially order a la Cartand not off the set menu. So sad. It used to be our go to place for dim sum, but last time the peking duck very was dry.Tonight the 2 tables next to use had the same overcooked peking duck like our from last visit. This location is convient andlots of parking. But this may be my last visit for a while There are way better choices out there, just Google them. Read more
We experienced a lovely time at Grandeur Palace for our wedding reception. Thank you Franco So for helping us organize and... orchestrate a huge event. Your hospitality and service was great! Thank you to the waiters and waitresses yesterday who served,cleaned and stayed behind to make the event a success. We all had a great time. Worth trying. Standard dim sum fare with great prices. Service was a bit of a mess with missing items and incorrect orders, and... priority to larger groups over groups of 2. Chrysanthemum tea was weak and they were cheap on the flowers. The BBQ Pork pastryis delicious, with a very thin crust and packed with meat. Rice noodles were thick, but bad lots of shrimp.
