We had the Haddock Sunday special last week and it was very good. Large portions, the fish was crispy and fries were cooked... well. Last year we had a bad experience with the Cod special, the fish was terrible, but I think ownership has changed sincethen. First time visitor, but long time area resident. The fish and chip restaurant near us had closed a while back and we were... looking for a new place. We had tried a couple in our area but Halibut House will be our new go-to fish and chip restaurant! Wewere immediately greeted when we entered and had our take out ready in about 7 minutes. Well kept inside and very clean. Brightinterior with an attractive decor. Halibut was a generous portion and cooked perfectly with plenty of chips that were supertasty!!
