Honestly I don?t understand why some of the reviews are so mean! I see lots of people complaining about how the restaurant... looked but it?s family run! They are not a multi million dollar chain like the Keg (and even then their restaurant isquestionable) you come here for the incredible food! My family and I have been dining at Mayur for at least the last 4-5 yearsand have had nothing but excellent experiences! We?ve celebrated birthdays here, Mother?s Day, holiday, we?ve brought friendsand extended family and not once was there a complaint or dissatisfaction! Mayur will never disappoint you their chief is amazing! The food will take you back to north India, their main course is beyond... anything I had in Canada by far and I have been to a lot of other restaurants in last 6 years and I am a vegetarian so review isfor veg food. I visited this Mayur restaurant on the weekend, very disappointed, I don't think they clean floors at the buffet area, floors... are sticky and washrooms are so dirty, I can't believe. Even my wife said ladies washrooms are dirty. We 6 of us went forbuffet hardly any food in buffet trays, tandoori chicken around 6 pieces in the tray and the quality of food is not good at all. The buffet price should be $8.99 for this quality, they charged each buffet $24.80 with tax, absolutely not worth $10.00. Iwould never visit this restaurant again. Really waste of money, rather go to HOST $27.00 buffet world class food, the reason Iwent to this restaurant my guest came from USA, easy access from 401. Never again visit this place, please don't be fooled withwebsite pictures, they took these pictures you see especially for building website to lure people in. Total disappointed. Read more

It was a pleasure going here for their lunch buffet , the ambience is cozy , everyone was welcoming and food stands out for the... flavour - after a long time I found even the basic peas pulao simply delicious : it was decent pricing for the number of itemsoffered for all you can eat ; the best part is they have their lunch buffet 7 days a week , I hope they don?t stop offering thisservice ; highly recommended.
