STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.I buy a Jangiri , when i open one, inside had fungus and properly made before 3 or 4 months ago. How... disgusting!!! Definitely not going back. Idlis are soft but small size. The lady is very money minded as she wouldn't even give little extra chutney and charged $1 for... small box. She wanted me to taste vadas and had only 3 left .. asked $1.5 for small leftover 3 vadas. Sambhar is good. Read more

EVERY SINGLE review that gave this place 1-star had only one complaint! That is the "rudeness" of the male owner of this place.... He brought his typical Indian arrogance, rudeness & fake sense of entitlement here into Canada! He unleashes his worst atwill! This 'hole-in-a-wall' take-out is located in a warehouse/industrial complex. You come here only when somebody refers you;) From the point of ordering on phone, to payment- beware you should NOT deviate a bit from the ideal-happy-path! Or else you-as a customer, will feel insulted by this man. DO NOT TALK A SINGLE EXTRA WORD TO HIM. They are closed on Mondays &Tuesdays! They work only until 4:30pm, if you dare to call them to put order after 4pm, be prepared to be ABUSED by this cashierman on phone itself! His wife makes superb idli's; but their 'sambar' is simply dal (with brinjal & cheap carrots, potatoes) ofsmall portion for 25 idlis. They are very stingy to put any other vegetables in their "sambar". You NEVER findbhindi/drumsticks/sojna ever in their "sambar". I always have to recook their dal at home & put extra vegetables to make it Areal sambar. Rest all products are of mediocre quality. When you go there to pick your meal, he will always try to oversell youtheir packaged junk foods :p so be careful! Read more
