The host was rude.short staff. Patrons have to cut through the dining to get to the pub. Food was not great. Clam chowder... very fishy and not creamy. Caesar salad dressing aweful almost spoiled. Crab cake taste not tasty. The wait time from when weordered food was 1 hour and 10 minutes and was cold. $38 for a small short rib and kids sized baked potatoes and veggie notworth the price. Only good comment the server Carrie was so nice, but was so busy and other staff just standing around. Hostess bad mouth patrons and kept playing with her hair. Would not go back. Bar very small. Stay away. Read more

I'll never be able to fully articulate how amazing and The Barker Tavern is!! Becky and her team were warm, fun, and so... organized. Our wedding was postponed twice due to Covid, but Becky and her team remained a calm and constant presence. We lovedthe experience so much we ended up hosting the wedding shower there too! The Barker delivered on both a smaller more intimateshower and a larger full blown celebration. Our wedding was beyond what we could have ever imagined, and so worth the wait.Largely because of The Barker Tavern. Highly, highly recommend!! <3 Read more

We love Eli?s pub at the Barker Tavern because it is so inviting and cozy and of course the bartender Colin is without a doubt... the best I have ever seen.. to watch him in action is a treat. He?s like a well oiled machine and runs that place the same way.He is here there and everywhere and doesn?t miss a beat. ???????? Now for the food..ABSOLUTE PERFECTION is the best way todescribe it.. swordfish and halibut we?re our choices and they were both outstanding! Our server was spot on.. never got hisname but he was just awesome checking on us just enough and to not be bothersome. I have always loved the Barker..and still do.If you have never been you are so missing out on a fantastic restaurant! Thank you to their entire staff for a job well done!???????? Read more

Had a superb Sunday dinner there recently! It was a roasted turkey dinner with all the fixings. Everything was flawlessly done,... and our drinks were mixed to perfection. All for a reasonable price in the low twenties. Read more
