So I?m new to North Carolina not heard this place is the place to be amongst other places. I do not recommend and will not be... going back. The chicken was extra dry and tasted like old grease. The mac and cheese was good but extremely greasy. The bananapudding not bad but couldn?t get the chicken taste out my mouth so couldn?t enjoy anything else after. We ordered three platesand each party is disappointed in the meals. Read more
PROS: Good food, a local described it as soul food. Had backed chicken, collards and green beans. I was not disappointed. CONS:... Ours table was not clean, they seemed a little disorganized. I kept hearing about their Mac & Cheese but didn't try it. One oftwo places in town open on Sunday so..... Bottom line I wouldn't hesitate eating there again. $21 for two lunches. Read more
