Been here a handful of times and disappointed with the portions they have been giving me. Once I went with a guy and he got a... heaping spoonful of protein while mine was barely full. Same thing happened today, there was a guy behind me who got a verygenerous amount per scoop while mine was about 5 pieces of tuna. So I?m basically paying 14 for mostly rice and 2 tiny spoonfulsof protein. Read more
Final review: 1.4 stars rounded down to 1 Better options: Koibito and Chula?s (4+ stars) I have been coming here for a few... years now. The quality of the ingredients, portion sizing, pricing and service have fallen off a cliff since it?s openingdays. Quality: Poor, D. The fish they serve is not fresh. My wife and I had food poisoning after last night?sexperience. Portions of fish and expensive sides are noticeably smaller. Our $16 bowls were essentially rice salads withminimal portions of spoiled fish. Pricing: relative to quality, it?s garbage. Chula?s seafood and Koibito are significantlyfresher, the fish portions are MUCH larger, and pricing is very comparable. Service: poor. Staff is clearly experiencing highturnover. I walked in at lunch hour today and the place was practically empty. The lady behind the counter walked up and with no smile... whatsoever and no customer skills whatsoever rushed me through ordering what I wanted and in such an unfriendly, angry manner.It was clear she hated her job. I suddenly understood why the place was empty. They don't know the concept of customer service.Doubt this place will last. The food was just okay. The rice was underdone and hurt my teeth and you get a very small amount offish. Won't be going back and cannot recommend it. Read more
