Probably the best AYCE Sushi I have had! And I have lived in Jackson FL, Bethesda MD, Chesapeake, VA. But Akita Sushi here in... Phoenix, is fantastic and has better atmosphere , Sushi, and Desserts than most! Read more
10/10 for an all you can eat place these people did it right. All you can eat sushi, deserts, and appetizers and they are good.... They don't mess around with no weak mid sushi, that sushi comes out fresh, the appetizers come out hot and amazing. If you liketo eat then this is the place for you because they keep the plates coming and you won't want to stop. I know I sound like acommercial right now but this place genuinely impressed me so I felt the need to help them out. I have been coming to this restaurant for many years, always had a decent experience. I mean, it’s all you can eat for less... than $30. However, I went the other night with a couple friends and our service was terrible and there was only a couple tablesoccupied. I chalked it up to not having enough servers for the night, not a huge deal. Then the food quality comes into play.The sushi just tasted off. I asked if they got their fish from somewhere else than normal and was told it was the usual place.But then even the fried food was tasting weird. We end on an early note trying to play it safe but it was too late. All three ofmy friends were deathly ill with food poisoning. Parking was easy, no hassle. Stepped inside the gentleman at the podium to the right of us just stared at us for a few minutes.... I'm guessing he was waiting for someone else to come and direct us to sit. That was probably my only gripe. Everything else was without issue. Food came very quick, waiter was extremely attentive, answered all questions. Food looked and tasted edible.Nothing burnt and since it's sushi of course some was raw :) plenty of room at our booth.
