We started at Citizen Public House for happy hour a little before our dinner reservation and we were glad we did. They have a... good selection of drink specials and bites to eat, actually at happy hour deals. Our entrees were excellent. One of our favorite restaurants in the city. The food is reliably delicious. The chopped salad is a must, and even though it... might seem odd to order meatloaf at a nice restaurant it really is excellent. Also the cocktails are all very good. Great dinner service at the bar. Definitely recommend the grouper. Nicely prepared with the purple rice topped with cucumber... salad. Also had the bread pudding for dessert. They also have a nice happy hour til 6pm which I ordered their house red wine andwarm roasted nuts. Read more
It was our 13th year anniversary and we decided to celebrate it at this beautiful place. It was a very good choice. I love the... food and people are very friendly. I want to give a special shout out to Sous Chef Juan Ramos. He took the time to step out ofhis busy kitchen, and came to our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Love it! Been a bunch of times for Happy Hour and dinner. Gets better and better. Sat at the bar with my other half and we both... had temparnillo. Delish. The bartender, Julian was great - personable, helpful, and perfectly chatty. With his suggestion wehad the chopped salad, chicken drumsticks and tuna tartar. Absolutely terrific.
