Dropped by with a few friends that said this place was good. I was rather surprised at the menu. It was so difficult to pick... just one thing so we all ordered several dishes. The food was really good. Had the Poke appetizer (spicy vs. Mild) to start things off. The spicy poke had a good heat to it... but not overbearing for me. Then the fish and chips were eaten afterwards. The fish was nice and firm with seasoning on it. Not your traditional crunchy batter... but it was fine with the firmness of the fish. Fries were good. Nothing was greasy. To me...I really liked the tartar sauce. The dill and relish amount in it was to my liking. The service isn't table side andthe atmosphere was casual. Got the fish and chips! The bomb! Not sure how the made this batter, but it came hot and fresh and I'm only half way through. ... This was my 2nd time here. I decided to try their fish and chips. It wasn't enough for me so then I decided on shrimp tacos.... Yummiliciousness. We ate at Coconut?s Fish Cafe for the first time this past Friday and liked it so much, we went back on Saturday. The food is so... fresh, healthy and delicious. My husband does not eat fish, but he was able to find awesome chicken selections and they alsohave steak which we have not tried yet. The Mahi and Ono are awesome.
