Have been wanting to experience some true Jewish deli food, so on the way home from an odd doctor's appointment ( that just... means we don't go to that doctor regularly ) by zigzagging our way from Paradise Valley back down to Tempe we were able to go byGoldman's without going out of the way. Since I've been there, I would go out of my way to go back! I got a corned beef &pastrami with sauerkraut sandwich, a bowl of kreplach, and noodle kugel. There wasn't a thing about any of it that I didn'tlove! Had never even heard of kreplach before, but I will be shouting it's praises from now on! The meat on the sandwich wasincredibly tender. As I bit down on the layers and layers of meat they just gave way; there was no clenching, there was nognarling, there was no pulling... The meat gently folded away over my tongue where my tongue didn't want to move for severalminutes! The kreptlock had two huge stuff dumplings with beautifully seasoned brisket as a filling about half an inch thick. Thechicken broth was delicious. Then came the noodle kugel... It made my heart sing! The noodles were done exactly right, they'rewere just enough raisins and Sweetness in the pudding for me to sing its praises! Please make yourself happy and visitGoldman's!
