JD's Lounge is located on the Scottsdale Plaza Resort. They offer a sports bar type dining option for guests and visitors. This... is a seat yourself kind of restaurant. There is a bar as well as dinner table and high table seating. When we arrived, we founda seat and were waited on promptly. Waters were provided immediately. We ordered chips and salsa to start, and a coal firegrilled pizza! The pizza was fantastic ? you can create your own, though they do offer three popular, local options too. Optionson the menu include burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and other sharables like wings and nachos. We ate here from dinner, but Iimagine they are open for lunch as well. For two people to share a pizza our total came to right around $65, so prices are a bitsteeper for two than you might expect. Mind you we did not have any bar beverages during our meal. We?ve been coming here for 15 years and have loved it. However, things have changed. Food menu has been cut to about a quarter... of what it used to be, drinks are overpriced and smaller, room service was a pain to order half the time, pool is too cold inthe SUMMER. Only saving grace was the staff and quality of the salon. Looking for a new place to getaway! Read more
The food and drinks are good but the service leaves something to be desired. It seems there is no management and the bartenders... choose to close whenever they desire. They even decided to close @ 11pm NYE with 20 people still eating. Drinks are overpriced. Better off going elsewhere and skipping the resort all together. Read more

Went here Thursday night for a reunion with a friend. Service was chaotic, yelling out drinks for us to claim, my appetizer came... after my entree. My bill was $64, their handheld card reader wouldn?t take my card so I had to pull out cash which was anotherfee. I never got an itemized receipt and gave the server 20% tip in cash, turns out I gave her 40% because she never relayedgratuity was included or gave me a receipt! As a bartender/Server myself I would never walk away knowing I didn?t inform a guestthey were tipping me half their bill for messy service. Your foh staff look miserable and lack communication with each other andtheir guests. It?s a beautiful place and left me unsatisfied. If a manager would like to contact me please do, I ended up paying$90 not knowing it was a $49 tab with gratuity. Read more
