We came here for lunch because we were in the neighbourhood shopping. We really enjoyed our food. The complimentary taco chips... and dips were especially good! I believe one was a pumpkin dip and the other was a regular salsa. They really were good. We hadtacos for lunch because there were only two on the plate and they came with two side dishes.....we prefer to eat smaller meals.The coleslaw side dish was delicious. I had the beer battered shrimp tacos and my partner had the fish tacos. Both were verygood. (The shrimp had a beer coating which is thicker than most coatings.) A delicious Mexican dinner in the heart of Scottsdale. I grew up in San Diego but live in Los Angeles now so I’ve always been... partial to Baja style, because honestly it’s the best, so I was excited to try this place being that it specializes in Bajaand I had only heard great things. The inside is really well done with very high ceilings and tons of different seating optionscomplete with a large bar. A great break from the heat. Our server was also very quick and attentive and did a great job. Istarted off with the Hot & Raw Tropical Ceviche and really loved it, although I couldn’t finish the huge sized portion. Thebeet chips with it were especially delicious and it would be a dish I would order again. For my entrée I chose the Barbacoawhich was also very well done and came with corn tortillas and toppings to make your own bites. Parking is easy to find in thestructure attached, or they offer valet out front. Overall a great meal and I would recommend anyone who is a fan of Mexicanfood or is looking for a great casual meal. Very great food and filling! It’s a popular location so I recommend getting a reservation if at dinner time. I’ve been at... lunch and it’s not been bad though. Staff are friendly and prompt.
