In our room the sliding bathroom door always opened it never stayed shut. The A/C just barely worked enough for us to stay... cool. the rooms are so so outdated for the price you pay, so not worth it!! I had a package delivered to the resort and when Iwent to go retrieve it the staff couldn't find it and when I showed them the confirmation that the package was delivered theybasically said "Well if it's not in that back then we don't have it" I left furious and decided to ask the valet guy and boy washe the best help EVER!! He remembered a package being delivered by Amazon and said hold on and within minutes HE was walking outof the lobby where the employees there "didn't" have it, with my package in hand!!! He I give a 10 for the amazing help andassistance from that whole resort. Read more

Very nice stay! Initially we were given a room with an adjoining room door and were kept up late by the people next door. When... they spoke in their room it sounded like they were sitting next to us. Still don?t understand why hotels put couples in a roomwith an adjoining room (They are not and never have been soundproof) but luckily after not being able to sleep they were happyto move us to another room down the hall with no adjoining room at about 11pm. This room was excellent. Comfortable, clean, dark. Pool area was good. We sat there from about 11am til 5pm on a Sunday and it was busy without being stupid. The onlycomplaint I have with the pool is that the servers have no vibe. Monotone and didn?t seem like they wanted to be there. They?reworking in a pool bar of a lively resort with good tunes playing, at least pretend to be happy! Read more

I loved this hotel. The pool, the Ping Pong table, the juice bar in the morning, it was all just amazing. Located walking... distance (or an Uber will be literally always 2 minutes away) from a lot in Scottsdale I'd stay here again in a Regina minute!!Saturday is the big party in the pool, bring your floaty!!! Never seen anything like it, what a wild time! Rooms are nice andcool, staff was just lovely. 10/10 would recommend!! Read more

The paint job can't hide what the Saguaro Scottsdale really is - a hotel that was built in 1975 with new paint. Much to my... chagrin, my stay was quite disappointing for the price. I paid $230 for one night with a 'resort charge'. Best: The valet wasoverly helpful The pillows and the bed OK: The staff was pleasant but definitely not of the same courtesy caliber you see at atrue resort or a high end Hilton or Doubletree. Mildly frustrating: The tub is the original - small. . It also had two watersettings - off and liquid hot magma. Shower head was cheap and didn't work too well. Very little temp control. The sink leaked as well. Room layout: Long and narrow. The TV did not swivel so you could only watch if sitting in bed. Desk space:Non-existent. And good luck on finding any conveniently placed outlets to plug in your phone. Air conditioner. Like mostin-room air conditioners, it hummed like a diesel truck. Most Irritating: The room menu was interesting. I ordered the kalesalad. It was delivered quickly but with no water, which I thought was a little off. The Kale was raw (usually its reduced a bitin an acidic dressing) and the chicken was undercooked. The resort charge. I didn't realize this was a resort. My front doorfaced the parking lot. Unless listening to Indian School Road is a replacement for sandy beaches and breath taking views, thisplace is no resort. Yes, they have a pool - but does anyone actually get in a hotel pool anymore? Good for a businesstraveler? Skip it. There are two hotels two blocks north that are cheaper and cater to business folks. But, if you are casualtraveler and just need a somewhere to sleep and drink, this may be the place for you. Read more

I loved the concept of the hip hotel in the old town district. Definitely for a younger patron as it seems to be a really good... trendy spot for vacationers. We had a room on the ground level that had a wonderful terrace outside that made it feel like atrue getaway. Also, there are two pools. One is definitely for adults and has a bar. The other one is smaller and more serene, which is perfect for children or people looking for less commotion. The room was pretty modern which is consistent with aboutique styled hotel. Read more
