Group of 5. 2 returnees and 3 new to the restaurant. Great food but waiter was rude when we asked that he charge 3 meals to one... card and 2 to another. Said they DO NOT do split checks and pretty much threw receipt at us and told us we could calculate. Wedecided to pay with one card. Waiter brought back a menu to show us that they did not split checks. Even though the 2 who hadbeen there before had a check split on their initial visit. Not impressed with poor attitude of waiter... not sure food wouldlure us back. Read more
Great Italian food. One of our favorite Italian restaurants in all the valley. Whenever possible we try and enjoy the experience... of a family run establishment. They offer an extensive menu. I would highly recommend reservations. Read more
Awesome atmosphere and amazing staff. I have to say the food what perfectly prepared and we had a amazing Server name Toni. We... ordered crab cakes and steam clams for an appetizer. Then for the our main course. I ordered the Zuppa de Pesce with white sauceand my boyfriend ordered the Linguini & Clams with red sauce It come with side salad or soup. We definitely would recommend thisplace but be sure to call ahead and make a reservation. Although we showed up with no reservation. We arrived at Uncle Sal's this evening at about 8:40. Upon entering, we asked the hostess to be seated, but she said that they... were closed and were not accepting any more patrons. Looking around the dining room, there were many tables still open andunoccupied. We have routinely visited on an almost weekly basis for many years now, and this is the first time we haveencountered an early closing instead of the usual 9:00 PM; we arrived twenty minutes before that. If the restaurant is notaccepting further seatings, perhaps they need to place the CLOSED sign in the entry door window early on to alert patrons. Should there was a staff shortage or supply issue, that could be considered as well. And if the kitchen closes at 8:30 PM, thatshould be made known. I do not wish to criticize the hostess at all, but rather the management position as to earlyclosing. Having been a constant customer here for many years, tonight made for a very disappointing experience. The food andservice are always second to none, but this was a great letdown. Read more

We concur with other reviews, had a good time and the food was great. We made reservations on a Friday night and were able to... get seated quickly. The kitchen was able to produce food quickly and the wait staff was attentive. We will plan to return on our next trip to Scottsdale. Read more
