The service was 100% fabulous- our waitress was the sweetest and she was on top of drinks and dirty dishes. Unfortunately, We... drove an hour to come here for oysters - being that they are directly off the bay/2 blocks from the ocean- I would?ve expectedfresh, delish, ice cold oysters. Nope. We got a wilted, gray, ice-less oyster that I hope we don?t get sick from. Drink wasn?tbad- food needs a really good adjustment. Not even just the oysters. Won?t be back. Read more

Oar House was once Lobster Loft.... the new owners did a masterful job upgrading, it looks terrific now. Band plays over dinner... now, a nice touch if you like music! A bit pricey but good food. Just stay away from the chocolate cake, 16 dollars for a rockhard piece...lol. Read more
Fantastic place for drinks, especially outside w acoustic music going. Excellent service even during peak times. Think the menu... could use some more options but food is consistently solid. Great rotation of music inside and out and an excellent spotsituated away from the downtown activity. Read more
