This place right here was well worth the drive from Pa! Stopped here for dinner, grabbed some lobster, clams, and chowder! It... was wonderful! We even were given directions to a local area so we could eat dinner and catch a sun set. Best Northernhospitality I have received. Definitely will be back and highly recommend!! Read more
My wife and I ate at Hodgdon's twice in summer 2021 and happily returned in August 2022. We could only do lunch this year so... steamers and muscles weren't availble (Mike does that cooking and arrives later in the afternoon after pulling his lobstertraps). We happily had the half-and-half roll that is half lobster and half crab. Deb knows how to dress lobster and crab. Delicious! This is a place to eat simple but incredible seafood and interact with the owners. Go somewhere else if you wantviews (and higher prices). Read more
If you?d like your lobster (in any form) from the person who actually caught the lobster, as fresh as possible, cooked by his... wife, with your money going directly to the struggling local fisherman family, this is the place. You can eat it here (theylovingly made their front years welcoming to visitors), or take it to go to a lovely sunset viewing point just down the road(ask the owners about where it is) Read more
Amazing restaurant! My husband was looking for true seafood while we were visiting, and he found this place and it did not... disappoint! His meal was fantastic and the service was phenomenal! I had the 1/2 & 1/2 roll and while I'm not a big seafoodlover, and have nothing to compare it to I loved the crab roll side, the lobster roll was too seafoody for me, but my husbandsampled and said it was delicious!
