The food was good but the employee working was very rude. They were curt with us while we were ordering and then after my meal I... went back up to the counter to ask if they had any desserts. The employee said no and quickly walked away. I was going to ordera coffee to go but I guess they didn't care because they just left me there. Read more
This place -used- to be Chaco Canyon. Many of the reviews and pics are from that time- I even have it 5 stars back in the... day. But this is now Broadfork Cafe so here is the Broadfork review. -dirty. Actual trash (crumpled napkins/ food) on floor. Thewater in the refill station had flies in it. In the food prep station there was old caked on food crusted to the walls, utensilhandles, and the counter which you pay at. -forgot part of my order (when there were three employees and no other customers) -Inever see other customers there -limited menu where most items are missing -lightbulbs flickering and other out -and many otherjust terribly run aspects of the business So sad. Their GF bread is great though and I wish they could get their act together!I keep coming back in the hopes they do. Read more
They must have had a bunch of online orders when I walked in, but I waited about 40 minutes for a really small/overpriced bowl.... It looked like about a cup of food total. I got the yam and kale bowl, and it's tasty but a waste of time and money. The Udistrict location is way better-- it matches the pictures and has the full menu. Read more
Just moved to the neighborhood and have tried going to this place several times. It was closed for days despite saying it was... open online and there was no sign on the door saying it was closed- just a sign with its hours that claimed it was open. Wenttoday with friends from out of town after calling to ensure it was actually open. We walked by someone right in front of therestaurant who was eating. Inside there was no one working. We called out hello a few times and waited five minutes. Since noone was there we want back outside to ask the person eating how they got their food, and the person said they were on theirbreak for ten more minutes. We had walked right by this employee on the way in and they didn?t bother to say anything such as?I?m the only employee today and am on my break for ten more minutes? instead they let us go inside and wait aroundconfused. I was enjoying... myself until I got to the middle of my burrito and saw a looong strand of hair entwined in the rice. It definitely turned off myappetite. ????
