The wait was 40 mins after checking in at the front door with the QR code.. there were multi tables open so I asked the hostess... how long we had and he sat us immediately. So maybe check in with the hostess and not the QR code. Other than that service wasgood and the food was even better! :) Read more

Amazing. You MUST visit. The menu is off the hook. Drinks are first class. Outdoor patio with Puget Sound view. (**Dogs... allowed on patio.) Ask for Chelsea - best service. Recommend: guacamole, house salad with shrimp, skinny mohito, flan to diefor. Restaurant across the street from historic Alki monument and iconic beach. Read more

Really excellent Southwest cuisine. Great service. Most places that serve alcohol have pretty pedestrian non-alcoholic drinks,... but not Cactus! We had the Ginger Mint Cooler and Watermelon Aqua Fesca and both were simply delightful. Our entrees were SmokedBrisket Tamales and Ancho Chicken Tacos; both were great. The brisket in particular was well-cooked and moist. Read more

We arrived early Saturday and got a window seat. Our vegetarian guest had an easy time ordering and she liked the food. My wife... ordered the nonalcoholic version of a cold coffee drink. It was delicious She also ordered the spicy ahi tacos, wonderful!! Theplate of nachos was plenty for three people. Like everything at Cactus, they do a very unique version of the dish. Cold brewcoffee Cup of green chili soup Spicy ahi tacos Seafood enchilada Green enchilada Instead of refritos they serve black beans. The rice is also non-standard. The host who greeted us and returned in various roles with the food was the most congenial we'vemet all year. The food was all great and the view of bustling Alki beach was a real pleasure. We plan to return and sampleother menu items. Like many good Seattle restaurants, it was a little pricey. We knew that in advance and it's not a hindrance.I'm excited to go back this summer!. I had a great time with friends. The portions were big and the food was delicious. I would recommend huevos rancheros + chorizo... and sunny side up! The churro waffle was also fantastic. I would definitely come back to try their other menus. Read more
