The experience was so bad I had to write this review while I was still sitting here. Food took 50 minutes to arrive to the table... (with the photos shared there are lots of tables open), our waiter checked on us once after receiving the food. There was nogiven information had to ask for when the food would be and if they knew how much longer. When my food arrived it was not what Ihad expected when asking if I could have my meat more well done the response was that’s how it’s suppose to be and alteringthe food may change…..didn’t ask for their tastebuds to be honored but mine then the only reason that changed my mind forgoing back and forth was they would have to start over because we can’t take food back that’s on your table….. totallyunderstandable and I just don’t have more time to wait. The oddest things besides the wait and this restaurant not living upto its 4 something rating, is when you speak up on something you don’t like the energy changes and the staff is no longer asfriendly or helpful. My daughter has spoken very highly of the Coastal Kitchen and now I definitely know why... The food was absolutely delicious and... truly unforgettable...I order the crab benedict and my wife had the farmers omelet, wow what a dinning treat...........! Bothmeals were served with spicy hash brown potatoes, which was uniquely delicious........ And there's so much food on the plate hadto get a doggie bag, wasn't leaving any of that goodness......Lol Warm it up the next morning, enjoy every single biteagain....... Got the Fish & Chips…nothing bad, but nothing really great either. Ambiance was average…not fun like a cheap diner, and not... modern or swanky fun. The outside with the neon sign made it seem more exciting than what was on the inside. Wait staff wasnice. Read more
