The prices are great and the bread is fresh! It's so hard to find good food in Seattle that doesn't break the bank. This is one... of those rare gems. They also sell bagels and bread that is a day old at a discount! Read more
Good drip coffee with non-dairy milk options. ???? But pretty stale bagel (either that or not toasted long enough) and... disappointing salmon cream cheese. Rather than fully integrating the salmon into the creamcheese, it was just a regular whitecreamcheese with chunks of salmon floating within. Also I wished they'd open the windows around the area without the AC becauseit got really toasty. Read more

After spending a week in Portland and a week in Seattle as bicycle tourists, this is the only restaurant that the kids and I... felt like we had to go back to- even though lots of others were excellent. The almond croissants, cheese danishes, Marion berrydanishes, snicker doodle cookies, and the bagels are all in the top 5% of the ones I?ve eaten in the 7 US cities I?ve lived in(tied w Twisted Croissant in NE Portland, but wider selection). We regret not having another week to try all of the differentbakery items. Plus almost everything is organic and the prices are reasonable. Charming local bakery that's been around since I went to school nearby! Was happy to see the same patio bench and some similar... decorations from years prior. The daily vegetable lentil soup was very tasty and the bacon leek quiche was solid. Rooster's combdanish is superb and highly recommend that. Otherwise would next time try one of their bagels ????
