The owner, BJ, is... an incredibly kind, professional, attentive, hardworking, and just all around lovely human being. Every interaction with him andhis team left us feeling reassured, cared for, and confident about having them on our vendor team. They were not onlyaccommodating of all of our requests but went the extra mile and made sure we had options to choose from even when requestingmodifications. They also handled abrupt COVID-related changes to our wedding seamlessly and made us feel supported every step ofthe way. Every staff member working that day was professional, caring, and wonderful. Most importantly, the food on our weddingday, was delicious, beautiful, and loved by all of our guests. Our salad was a piece of art that BJ decorated with edibleflowers from his own garden. We got married at The Foundry by Herban Feast and used them for catering as well. First off, The Foundry is an amazing venue!!... The overall flow of the whole space is perfect and if you want everyone on the dance floor all night, this is the place to doit. The bar is right by the dance floor and we put the dessert/late night snack near there as well. Herban Feast also nails itwith their food! Everything was delicious and unique. Herban Feast catered for our wedding at Parties on the Terrace on 5/21/22. The food was incredible, the staff were kind and... gracious, and the bar tenders made some amazing drinks. Katie our planner helped us think through the big picture down to thelittle details (like having a private moment with my husband after the ceremony - complete with appies and drinks!) They helpedcoordinate our linen and dinnerware rentals, etc. which was a huge help since we didn't know where to start. AMAZING! We had our wedding reception at The Foundry by Herban Feast on 4/2/2022. Number on thing: staff were out of this... world. Our coordinator, Kate, was so responsive and flexible. The catering staff were not only talented, but were great duringour tasting dinner. They helped us create the perfect menu and select the perfect drinks! Lastly, but most certainly not least,the night of staff were FABULOUS. I've never met such a nice bunch of folks! The bartenders, attendants, kitchen staff,everyone. They were not just polite and professional, but were sincerely pleasant and not robotic or anything like that. Thevenue is, of course, beautiful. I chose Herban Feast to cater my wedding at a private residence on Vashon Island. BJ and his crew had great communication the... week of my wedding and on the day of it was like meeting an old friend, instantly putting me at ease. All our guests loved themenu and the food, fresh ingredients and tasteful presentation sealed the success of dinner. We did go over budget but it wasworth it and I have no regrets. I would choose Herban Feast again for my next event. I also used Herban Bloom for my bouquet andboutonnières which BJ also owns and they came out lovely and I received lots of compliments on the flowers as well! Class act! Read more
