I have been here for a few times, i tried salmon and few other seafood items. They were all delicious. - Nice decoration... inside - Very kind and friendly people - Clean place in general - View from windows is amazing. Seattle skyline, I-5 bridge,Lake Union all look beautiful. I hate to write this review but here goes nothing. I've been going to Ivar's for years and always recommend this place for great... seafood while people visit Seattle. It's a great ambience and I've never had issues here until last night. We sat outside on thedeck instead of inside since it was such a beautiful day. We got served our appetizers and no plates and silverware were at thetable. I think 3 people said oh let me grab you some and none was brought back. The lady that brought us the food and apologizedand brought some right away. One waiter said he would bring us more water and he or our regular server didn't bring any thewhole time. We sat outside til we were the last ones there and our sever came out once to check on us and it was right when ourmain course was served. While eating we wanted more drinks/wine but no one came out. It wasn't overly busy either so we were allwondering what was going on. We finally got up and tried to find the waiter and he was no where in sight. We finally asked arandom server and we got our bill. Two other servers were laughing about our other sever not attending to us. Once we werepaying our sever rolls around the corner and says oh do you need your bill. We just looked at him and he said sorry and walkedaway. He was outside smoking. I think the whole experience was very unprofessional. Not sure what has happened to Ivar's. Youshouldn't have to chase down your bill and on a side note we could've just walked out but we would never do that. I expect tohave top of the line service when you pay $50-$60 a plate. We spent over $300 and the service was such a disappointment. I alsobrought two people from out of town and they were disappointed as well. The food was great so I'm happy about that! Took a visiting coworker to this restaurant because it felt like the best restaurant to represent the foods of the Pacific... Northwest. The restaurant interior was very beautiful and was pretty busy. Decided to order this seafood combo because I lovevariety. Really enjoyed the Taste of the NW entree. Fish was cooked perfectly. The wine list is pretty good, with some creative cocktails... as well. Do your best to get a table by the window for spectacular views of Lake Union. Read more

Perfect fall weather on a Sunday morning for a reservation and was lucky to be sat on their outdoor patio. Great views as you... are dockside on Lake Union, but a bit noisy with traffic crossing the bridge overhead. Boaters can pull up to their dock to dinein a 3 hour window. Food was solid and just filling enough. Service was fast and efficient. We were some of the first to be satand order as they opened at 11:30. Got one of their free parking spots too! Read more
