If Google reviews allowed 0.5 stars, I would give this restaurant 3.5 stars.\n\nWe came here because we don\'t often go east... past Capitol Hill, and we wanted to try something new. This place had great ratings overall (4.7 at time of writing) and thephotos displayed in the reviews were fancy (mostly provided by the restaurant), so we decided to come here.\n\nWe ordered theJae\'s Bento Box and Udon soup. I enjoyed the dining decor and how the food was presented. I also liked how their menu had avariety of Asian dishes to choose from. The food we had was okay though, pretty basic and nothing extraordinary; perhaps weordered the wrong things.\n\nThe service could definitely be improved though. When the waiter brought us our Udon and took offthe lid, the tempura stuck on the lid for a bit, then fell on the table. Not a problem as the waiter apologized, but instead ofoffering a replacement, he picked it up with his bare hands and placed it back into the bowl. We didn\'t complain about it, butfound that peculiar.\n\nAt the end of our meal, the waiter wasn\'t really attentive, so we sat there for a while. Interestingly,we were the only diners in the restaurant at the time, and there were at least two waiters idle (saw them on their phones). Wefinally decided to head to the front to pay and that\'s when he finally brought us our bill. Sort of expected a small discountfor the service, but again did not make a scene out of it.\n\nOverall, since the food was meh, and the service was bleh, for atotal of $60 for the two entrees we tried, I don\'t think we would come here again. Only have had the Vietnamese Wrap off the starter menu, however if the rest of the menu matches these, it will be wonderful! I... ordered the shrimp version, they came quickly, and looked wonderful. The initial taste, without the fish or peanut sauce, waslight and refreshing, then filled in as I got further into the roll. The shrimp was very fresh tasting, and I also added thefish sauce. This is exactly the kind of place I love to look for when visiting the Seattle area. Great food, phenomenal service. Our... server—-I believe she said her name was Feung, was extremely kind and accommodating to our disabled son. They even brought hisfood out sooner so we could get a head start on feeding him and enjoying our sushi. She even brought him complimentary cookies.The atmosphere is relaxing and this was our son’s best experience at a restaurant. A big thank you, from North Idaho! Read more

Stopped in for a lite meal after taking a nice walk in the arboretum. Staff was very welcoming and the menu had just what we... were looking for.
