I got the miso chicken katsu. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was very tender. I wasn't a fan of the miso sauce, but my... partner got the curry pork katsu which I thought was much tastier. A big fat nope for me Despite some good reviews I definitely would look somewhere else for Japanese Katsu. I honestly could... find more cabbage than Katsu. I did not order cabbage or did I????? They were served in a nice tray, but for rice, 4 pieces ofKatsu and mountain of cabbage? Not worth paying $19 for it. Katsu curry was okay, but 6 pieces of Katsu, curry and rice and $24for it? Overall, overpriced for nothing. Service was not great either. The servers and cooks there were so loud we couldn?teven hear each other across the table. The servers kept staring us or giving us glances to the point that it wasuncomfortable. So happy we found this place to enjoy authentic Japanese Katsu Don! All Katsu are freshly made (deep fry) and come with really... nice sides. The cabbage goes well with either the sesame sauce or ponzu sauce (grapefruit). Portion is big. They also got verysmooth beer. Really good food and good time. ???? Read more

Went on a Wednesday night around 7 PM. The wait for a table of 6 was about 20-30 minutes, which is not too bad. Not much waiting... space, so had to stand outside. The service was great and helpful with explaining the menu and suggestions on what toorder. The mozzarella katsu is a very enticing menu item. Overall the dish is great, but it is definitely for those who enjoymozzarella. I?d suggest splitting the entree if you are just wanting to try it out. Side dishes and salad are great. Sauces areon point and very savory. Would recommend for any occasion. Larger groups do have gratuity set at 20%, so take that intoconsideration if you are planning with to go get dinner with a group of friends and family. Read more
