I walked past this place a few times and of course, noticed the name. Today, to avoid the crazy Pike Street Market crowds, I... went in for lunch. I’m really glad I did. The service was fast, attentive, and friendly. They bring a whole pitcher of waterto the table, a big plus. The menu is just right, not huge, but not tiny either.I had the turkey melt on sourdough. I came here for weekend brunch. I got the roasted salmon from the special which was pretty good. The salmon tasted well with the... farro whose acidity balanced the roasted salmon well. Our order took a lot of time to come. Our server said it is due to thesalmon which seemed odd considering it is in the specials. The taste I feel made up for the wait. My wife got the mushroomomelette with sourdough toast. The mushroom was very good and the overall dish was pretty tasty appetizing. We ended with somebanana pancakes which came with jam, berries and 2 meringue. The pan cake tasted well but was slightly burnt at the edges whichcontributed to a bitter after taste in some bites.
