I went to this restaurant with my brother in celebration from him coming back from south cal. We went here about a week ago and... let me tell you it was the worst experience we have encountered. It was busy which i understand but there had to be about 3 to 4servers there that gave us good eye contact and they did not even give us a hello or a welcome or not even a set time for whenwe will be seated. After about 35 minutes of waiting we finally got seated by a young man with super short hair. He was nice butseemed super stressed out and it kind of felt unwelcoming from the way he was taking our order. Sort of like a "hurry up andorder" attitude. We told him our order and after about a good 1 hour probably more of waiting our food came out. Both of ourfood was really cold and not really good tasting. The restaurant itself was cozy, clean and the patio is really nice to sit on. We had gone in-between lunch and dinner so it was... relatively slow time of day but the service was still pretty slow as well. We were a little bummed because 4 out of the 5 mealswe ordered had avocado but when we got our food there was no avocado on anything then when we asked about it, we were told theywere all out of avocado. The waiter should've informed us of this while ordering so we could've made a different choice if wewanted too. Overall it's a nice restaurant with good food but they should just be upfront if they don't have certain productsand more attentive to the customers. Read more
Burger was solid but that was THE most bland fried chicken I have ever tasted. The chicken was very moist and the outside was... perfectly crispy but there were absolutely zero spices added to the batter. I cannot believe I finally found a place that mademe regret ordering fried chicken. Read more
The good: the food was very good, especially for the price. The bad: we were sat in the last booth. Our server was pleasant... enough, but after she brought our food, she said that she was going to bring salt and pepper. After waiting several minutes, wehad to get up and ask her to bring it. And that took a few min. Our cups were both empty on the edge of the table when shebrought it. She never came back to our table. Once again, after well over 10 minutes of eating with no drinks, we had to getup to get her attention. (At this time a young man was going around and filling everyone's water except ours). Good food & Attentive Servers The hostess could be more welcoming/accommodating. They don't accept reservations on the weekends,... which is odd, and inconvenient, as the weekends are really when you need reservations. I got to restaurant early for a breakfastwith girlfriends, and called from the parking lot while finishing my make up. I asked if I could give my name and number for thenext available table for 3, as it looked like there was a wait. She said "that's not how it works. How it works is you come in,and wait for a table. I don't take names or call people." Okay. But it's not like she has a lot to do. It's a small restaurant,and it might behoove her, not to mention the restaurant, to be a tad more accommodating.
