Nice Pakistani restaurant in Secaucus. The dishes taste pretty authentic. Spice level was set at a high medium. We got the... chicken biryani, bihari boti and goat karahi. The goat karahi was really good, the biryani and bihari boti were alright. I hadtheir Kashmiri chai and it wasn't great. Tasted like watered down milk so I don't recommend that. The service is a bit slow andservers seem to always be on their phone. I had a reservation and had to wait a few minutes for the hostess to pause a personalcall to talk to me. We stumbled into Lahore quite by accident. We were attempting to head into the city for dinner and the tunnel was so backed up... we turned around and got off in Secaucus, with no plan for dinner. Saw Lahore in town and decided to give it a try. The hostsand wait staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious! They were busy on a Sunday around 6 but managed everythingwell. We had the Chicken Kahari as well as the Goat. The dal was excellent as was the fried fish appetizer. We enjoyedeverything we tried but we ordered SO MUCH FOOD we took most of it home! I'm still enjoying it two days later and probably willfinish it up tomorrow. :) I expect we WILL be back to Lahore Restaurant! Read more
The food was divine but I wish the ambience was a bit better. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly and the table next... to us had very loud kids and adults. That marred our experience but the food and service was excellent. Liked all of thefollowing: Beef buhari kebab - hammered spiced meat roasted with spices and with that unique chargrilled flavor. Seekh kebabs- huge, juicy and flavorful Naan - tried the garlic and chilli and plain naan - all were soft, pillowy and fresh Lahori fish -deep fried and spicy fish served with French fries. Really tasty. Chaat items such as the golgappa and papdi chaat were simplyok. The golgappa water was too sour. Liked the way the golgappa a were served though (on a little palang/khatiya). What a great experience it was to eat at Lahore Restaurant. The food taste, quality and quantity was perfect. The décor... makes you feel like you are in Pakistan's NorthEast City. This was the second time we came and it is a pleasure to have serversso pleasant, efficient and quick. Although the restaurant is on the smaller size, you don't feel it because they have perfectedhow to use technology, reservations and time limits for patrons. Being Halal brought us to this restaurant but all of the abovementioned keeps bringing us back. Read more

I would like to say about the ambiance that please add more bright lights in your dinning area there were such a dim lights that... everyone was seeing their foods with the help of their phone light, overall it is decorated nicely with one Auto rickshaw andmany beautiful pictures,but please add more lights so that we can see what we are eating , on our next table there were 4 oldpeople sitting and eating but they were having a very difficult time to see there cheque just because there was not enough lightthere so we helped them with our phone light. Now come to the food, we ordered White Karahi that was our favourite 9/10. Golgap-pay was good as well 9/10. Beef Nehari was just an average for us 6/10 Malai boti was just an average too 6/10 Overall allgreat food! But yeah please keep in mind about adding more lights on your dinning area. Read more
